2015 sees the year that Sligo RFC celebrate 125 years of rich history 1890-2015. Part of that history is a 40 year tradition of the annual St. Stephen’s Day Town V County match.
In this annual fixture the Club welcomes home former players and friends to join members of the current senior panel for the game on St. Stephen’s Day. This year the Town side was Captained by Michael McMorrow and the County side Captained by Stuart O’Brien (who stepped in for Aaron Tansey who had to bow out due to injury).
