Player Welfare to the fore as Concussed Monivea Player Air lifted to hopsital #respectforathletes and well done everyone for making the game we love safer.

A player on Saturday who was concussed was airlifted to hospital. Such was the quick decision making of the coaches and officials and players that the strictest of precautions are in place. Everyone is delighted that the player has been released from hospital and will be observing the return to play protocols.

Wishing any injured players a speedy recovery, in such a physical game the athletes welfare comes first.

It is a credit to Monivea Rugby club, the refs, the coaches that this was handled as it should be.
