Former Connacht and Ireland Wolfhounds prop Brett Wilkinson has been appointed the new Buccaneers head coach.

Brett Wilkinson has been appointed the new Buccaneers RFC head coach. A former Connacht, and Ireland Wolfhounds player the South African native played 183 times for Connacht before retiring last year due to medical advice following a neck-injury.

He played five times for the Wolfhounds and represented Ireland in a non-cap match against the Barbarians.

Wilkinson succeeds Tony Dolan in the role with the Midlanders.
