LONDON, 20 May, 2015 – England and Sale Sharks fly-half Danny Cipriani surprised rugby fan, Harry Case, with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to lead England out at Twickenham for the opening match of Rugby World Cup 2015. Danny interrupted a training session at Isleworth and Syon School in Hounslow to award the stunned pupil with the first Official Emirates Flag Bearer place.

Born in Isleworth, Harry was selected by the school’s teachers for his outstanding work and contribution to the school’s rich sporting history. The 15 year old rugby hopeful, who plays for Ealing RFC, will bring rugby home when he flies the flag for England as they face Fiji at the famous London stadium on the 18 September.

Over the next eleven weeks, Emirates, an Official Worldwide Partner for Rugby World Cup 2015, will be giving young fans across the country the chance to follow in Harry’s footsteps. Through its Find the Flag competition, which launches next week, Emirates along with Danny and a team of leading rugby players will be challenging teenagers in eleven host cities around England and Wales to find the hidden flag. Once located, entrants will be able to upload their flag selfies, using the #EmiratesFlag to be in with a chance to lead a competing nation out onto the pitch during the Tournament later this year.

Emirates A380 First Officer and former England winger, Tony Underwood kicked off the mission to find the Official Emirates Flag Bearers by bringing the flag home from Dubai to London Heathrow, where he was welcomed by Danny.

To be in with a chance of winning, follow the Find the Flag competition on Emirates social channels from the 27 May.
