Congratulations to our Under 18 girls team who took part in their first 7 a side Connacht Cup for Schools. They represented Ard Scoil Mhuire Ballinasloe in the Senior Cup. They played 4 matches with only eight players against teams with 14 players, so no rest! So well done to the girls and their coaches, Richie Shepard, Simon Hyde and Der Tierney Jnr. Good luck to them on Saturday when they play in the Clubs Connacht Cup in Westport. Congratulations to our Under 15 girls who took part in their first 7 a side Connacht Cup for Schools. They represented Ard Scoil Mhuire Ballinasloe in the Junior Cup. They played three matches. They had a close battle in the final with a Beibhin Parsons last minute try securing a win, bringing the FIRST Connacht Cup back to Ard Scoil Mhuire! Well done to the girls and their management team on the day Karen Usher and Richie Shepard. The Under 15’s also head to Westport on Saturday to play in the Club Connacht Cup Competition.
