CRC U16’s League Match 2/11/2014 vs Monivea.
A very warm welcome and a special thank you to the coaches and players of Monivea who travelled over to the new pitch to give our U16’s squad a vigorous and very sporting encounter. The final result on the day was Monivea 24 (4 tries and 2 conversions) to Carrick 15, (2 tries one conversion and a penalty). Thankfully, the rain held off during the game and left for an entertaining game for both the players and the crowd who attended to cheer on both clubs.
Also, a special thanks to the Carrick RFC groundsmen, who came out and got drenched the night before the match trying to line the pitch, and then had to come out again and reline the pitch on the morning of the match, due to the excessive rainfall during the night.
