It was a pleasure to attend the Bud Light Tag Rugby League games at Newforge Country Club on 2nd June 2010. The standard was excellent, with all teams mounting sustained high quality attacks. Defensively alot of organisation, with team managers and supporters all pulling their weight to make their teams the best. Many thanks to the organisers and referees.
Grassroots rugby in Ulster is certainly on the up and to see so many tag teams competing in this years tournament bodes well for the future.
The quality of play is very good from all sides.
