Updates from 9th of November
Virginia Under 15’s Girls played a pre challenge match on Saturday against Ashbourne/Ratoath and beat them well with the final score being 10-1. Keep up the good work girls!
Virginia U17s played Armagh also on Saturday. Although there were excellent ball handling skills performed by the Virginian’s, it was not there day with the final score being 35-5 to Armagh. Trainings Wed and Thurs @ 7.30pm. All players Must attend!
A very strong performance by our U15s on Saturday as they beat the league undefeated leaders City of Armagh RFC 19-14. Well done to all players and coaches, with a brilliant game played!
A most unusual final scoreline for the U13s as they too played City of Armagh, with a final score of 0-0. And although there was no scores, this was by far the strongest performance shown by the young Virginians against a tough Armagh side, well done to all!
Well done to the U8s as their hard work at training is paying off as they won both of their games on Sunday against Rathoath. Good work lads!
And finally, a great fun day was had by all the U7s who also played Rathoath. A great team spirit was evident as some of our own helped and played with Ratoath!
