U11s push Coolmine Close
Although the match ended 3-2 to Coolmine, it was undoubtedly Virginias best performance of the season, with great defending and team work evident on the day. Well done lads, keep up the good work!
U10s Away blitz in Balbriggan
The mini’s had a blitz on Sunday. The first game proved to be their best, as they beat Old Wesley A team 7 to 3.
They then played Old Wesley Team B with great tackling and passing. Again with another win for Virginia 6-3
Finally the team played Balbriggan with a draw of 4 tries each for the teams.
U12s away to Longford
Virginia under 12 travelled to Longford last Sunday for a very entertaining but tough game. . This game was played at a fast pace and any mistakes would be punished. Trys were traded back and forward with the game finishing up 5-4 to Longford. Great team performance by all!
