What Kieran is talking about here is something that we see in Ulster Sides who are developing, well over 70% possession and then failing at the last hurdle the last pass or 5 metres that is the closer of the hole deal. Someone smart once said always be closing whether that be scoring the try or closing the gaps, the fact reamians that if we were coming away from these games with 20% possession and won the game it would not reflect that the opposition had 80% of the possession. What we must absolutely do is close out the last 5 metres 10 metres, it means reaching a clean driven rage to cross that line, it is just a total mindset to cross that line, its the final part of the deal its the reward earned by the hard work its the points on the board, once that score has occurred then we are ready to kick off again.

I remember passing my A-Levels and realising that i then had to do a degree. The job was not done. Yes we celebrate a win but in rugby terms were right back at it next day because the job is never done, one game is just part of a series of games. And its here we think that the concepts of duty and character come in because they are concepts which point to a higher value or a sense of something more important than us all.

I know that every rugby player i support and follow in Ulster is full of character, full of gameness and full of skill, and it is real coaches like Kieran Campbell who will go the distance with these players and himself to unlock that potential in themselves and each other so that we reach that zone of winning the game out by taking our fitness and conditioning and skills to our next level, and by being more clinical and precise than anyone else.

Lets not forget the team scored 24 points compared to Munsters 30.

So watch Kieran Campbells interview and now this that having known Kieran Campbell for years that he is for real.
