Clogher Valley U18’s got revenge on their Ballynahinch rivals with a 4 try win at home winning 26-5. One of the strongest sides in this league, Ballynahinch had previously defeated Valley by over 40 points in November.
The home side came out of the blocks aggressively and trapped the vistors in their own 22 for the first few minutes. The first scrum of the match, was awarded to the visitors on the 22 meter line. The Valley front row of Whiteside, Hicks and McDonnell pilled on the pressure and the ball shot out of the scrum, Jordan Carruth playing at scrum half, was the fastest to react, picked up the ball, rounded his opposite number and the full back to score beside the posts.
