UUC 3’s Beat Holywood 3’s
UUC 3’s share top of their league after beating Holywood 3rd XV 62-10, in a game that was played with great spirit and belief, the game which was called short saw very capable performances from Alan Johnson, Brothers Scott and Karl Stephenson as well as Aaron Armstrong and James Perry. The 3’s now welcome Cilvil Service 2’s and with a largely unchanged squad the lads will be looking to get another good scoreline on on the go and seek to hopefully challenge for top spot honours come April 2014. The team combined with youth and experience know that their success will only be driven by good training sessions on and off the pitch, and great commitment to game time.
New Rugby Development Officer Appointed
The club would like to congratulate Stevie Brown on becoming the New Rugby Development Officer at UUC RFC, his roles will be to increase Rugby Participation both in men’s and women’s rugby between all campuses at the University of Ulster.
