The University of Ulster Coleraine Rugby Team (UUC RFC) are introducing a new initiative this season to build on their success of last season. The Performance Development Squad (PDS) will allow new and existing players to improve their abilities and skills whilst receiving top quality coaching.

The Performance Development Squad will be introduced to the Rugby Club this September and will be open to both new players joining the club and existing players. The PDS offers rugby players the opportunity to reach the next level. The squad runs throughout the season providing supervised conditioning and skills sessions, along with full nutritional diet plans.

The PDS is a two-tiered academy like system. If a player involved in the PDS system considers himself to be of an elite standard, he has the option to apply for an elite performance development squad place.

UUC RFC are looking for players who are interested in joining the club and playing an excellent standard of rugby. For further information on the Rugby Club or the PDS contact uucrfc@hotmail.com.
