Sunday is a big day in the history of ulster women’s rugby with the provincial competitions spanning three experience levels for the first time! The Rosie Stewart cup has been running for many years now and us still the prize every club aspires to take home, and in the last 3 years the ulster shield has marked out the best of the rest!
But this year for the first time, to recognise the clubs in the qualifying league and those clubs just finding their feet, the pre-existing development cup has been divided into the ReJenerate SM cup for qualifying league clubs and guests, and the development cup for new teams and those still developing plus guests!
As a refelection of the personal interest in the Womens rugby being taken across Ulster and beyond the following cups and fixtures until the end of January will see development and elite levels playing rugby! Big battles to follow!
