One of Chris’s main club targets was to increase numbers within the u13s youth squad through the IRFU “Play Rugby” scheme. Having coached in the 3 main feeder secondary schools of Fivemiletown College, Aughnacloy College and St Ciarans Ballygawley, Chris organised a yr8 schools blitz and followed up with a recruitment night at club training. The club was able to provide a mini-bus to transport the youngsters from pickup points to Fivemiletown. This provided a boost to the u13s team with 8 new boys turning up for the 1st time.
