Ulster Rugby have announced details of three pre-season friendly fixtures which will take place this August.

First up is a home tie against Bath at Ravenhill on Friday 13th August with a 7.30pm kick off.

Ulster defeated Bath, who placed 4th in last season’s Premiership, twice last season in the Heineken Cup, 26-12 at Ravenhill in Round 1 and 10-28 at The Rec in Round 6, and next month’s “friendly” will take on an extra significance given that the two teams have been pooled together again for European competition this season.

Ulster then travel to London where they will take on Harlequins on Saturday 21st August (2.30pm), before rounding off their pre-season programme at home to Neil Back’s Leeds Carnegie on Thursday 26th August, kick off 7.30pm. Former World Cup winner Back spent his first season with the outfit (08-09) guiding them to promotion from the Championship and last season they placed 10th in the Premiership table.

In a big change to the match night experience this season at Ravenhill, supporters coming to the home friendlies will see the car-park area of the ground transformed into a food village with lots of activities to keep adults and kids amused pre-match – check www.ulsterrugby.com for more details prior to the matches or keep up to date by following us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/ulsterrugby

Tickets for Ulster v Bath and Ulster v Leeds will be available to purchase from 9am on Friday 23rd July priced at £15 (adults) and £10 (under 16s) for the Main Stand and £12 (adults) and £6 (under 16s) for the Promenade and Terrace. Pre-season friendlies are included in the 10/11 Season Ticket.
