This month the Referee’s society is hosting two of the world’s elite International Referees, Craig Joubert of South Africa and Chris Pollock of New Zealand, in the New Stand, Ravenhill, at 8pm. Both men will be speaking of their life as professional referees, what this entails and demands the job places on them.
With these two accomplished guests the referee’s society thought it a wonderful opportunity to invite any players or ex-players considering taking up the whistle to come along and get a first hand view of life as a referee.
All the members of the Referee’s Society are being encouraged to ‘Bring a Friend’ along to aid the recruitment of the next wave of Ulster Referees.
