Teams from Aughnacloy College, St Ciarans College Ballygawley , Fivemiletown College and Castlederg High took part in the 10 a side format with most boys playing rugby for the first time. The event also gave Clogher Valley RFC Community Rugby Officer Chris McDowell the opportunity to promote the local club and invite the boys to a follow-up “Play Rugby” training night at u13s youth training on wednesday 5th December. Clogher Valley RFC President Alan Montgomery also paid a visit to the blitz and gave a short speech to the young players about the club and the benefits of joining. Ulster Branch Community Rugby Officer Darren McGuigan also helped organise the event.
