Awesome skills on show make for a superb spectacle fo rugby 7s and the final between Instonians & Randalstown was a brilliant game that could have gone either way. Instonians took ultimate glory.

Throughout the games the skill level was very high as Malone, Instonians, Ophir, Randalstown, Carrick, Ballyclare, Larne & Inst Seahorses battled it out in 2 groups, semi finals and final.

Held @ Ophir Rugby Club this tournament is now in its 37th year. The tournament heralds the beginning of the rugby Union season in Ulster and is attended by clubs from all over the province.

The U19 tournament held on the Friday night is attended by some of the best teams in Ulster and for these players is an opportunity to put all their pre season training into action and for the spectators is an opportunity to watch the next generation of players as they perfect their skills in readiness for Senior rugby.

This years tournament was no exception in its wuality as the teams battled it out for the Ken Bonar Memorial Trophy
