Coach Mike Ruddock has made a number of changes to the side that lost out to England in their last outing.

James Rael and Peter Reilly join Des Merry in the front row while Alan O’Connor partners Iain Henderson in the second row.

Aaron Conneely, Josh Van de Flier and Jack Conan make up a new look back row.

Mike Sherlock has been named at full back with Conor Finn partnering Sam Coghlan Murray on the wing.

Peter Nelson joins Chris Farrell in the centre while Jack Carty and Luke McGrath have been named at out half and scrum half respectively.

Speaking of his selection, Ruddock said “We have had two extremely physical battles against South Africa and England and we felt we needed to freshen the team up. A number of players are carrying bumps and bruises and it provides opportunities for other squad members to step up and take their chance.”

This fixture has been moved from Danie Craven Stadium, Stellenboschto Cape Town Stadium.

The games will be shown live on TG4 and Sky Sports.
