The best sports supplement you’ve never heard of

The Sun Chlorella Corporation have expanded their range, which includes some of the world’s most popular chlorella products, to include Sun Eleuthero as they feel ‘eleutherococcus senticosus’ is set for supplement stardom…

Whilst many won’t be familiar with eleutherococcus senticosus (ES), the Asian plant has been shown, in various studies, to have huge potential as a sports supplement, seen to help speed up recovery after strenuous exercise, decrease muscle damage, boost fat burning and dramatically increase endurance performance.
One of the most significant studies was a human study3 which saw very dramatic results in those taking ES. Participants in the study cycled at 75% of their VO2 Peak (a measure of the amount of oxygen consumed when exercising at maximum capacity) until exhaustion, before and after 8 weeks of supplementing with ES. After the two month period, participants were seen to have raised their VO2 measurements by 12%, but more striking their endurance time increased by an incredible 23%. These dramatic changes appeared to be linked to the fact ES somehow alters the body’s metabolism to rely more on fat as a fuel.

Eleutherococcus senticosus in everyday life

The Sun Chlorella Corporation hope that Sun Eleuthero (which uses ES from wild plants, grown without the use of chemicals or pesticides, and comes in easy to swallow tablets) will highlight the benefits of eleutherococcus senticosus to the public.
One packet contains over three weeks’ worth of tablets and has an RRP of £21.95. For further details visit www.sunchlorella.co.uk

Please note: Pregnant and breast feeding women should not use Sun Eleuthero. Do not use if suffering from any heart condition or blood pressure condition. Seek advice before use if suffering from any other medical condition or taking medication. Not for use by children.
