Sunblest is offering businesses across Northern Ireland a unique opportunity to support Marie Curie Cancer Care, while promoting their own company.
The Lorry for Life initiative is an innovative approach that gives businesses the chance to advertise their logo on the side of a Sunblest lorry with all proceeds donated to Marie Curie Cancer Care. Creating more visibility than a static advertisement, the lorry will be on the road 360 days of the year.
With an advertising size to suit every budget, Marie Curie is also offering companies the unique opportunity to name the front of the lorry after someone special in a sealed bid provided to the charity.
Marie Curie Cancer Care is best known for its network of nurses who work in the community, providing end of life care, totally free for patients in their own homes.
Elva O’Connor, Sunblest Brand Manager said: “Sunblest is delighted to be working alongside Marie Curie this year on our annual Lorry for Life initiative. As a local brand, we want to support local charities doing great work on the ground across Northern Ireland. We’d encourage all businesses to get involved and promote their service while raising funds for a much-needed cause.”
Anne Hannon, Corporate Development Manager for Marie Curie adds, “This Lorry provides us with a great platform to continue to generate awareness about the work we do across Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, every five minutes someone dies without the care they need at the end of their lives.
“As well as supporting patients with cancer, we also help those with other life-limiting illnesses such as Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and end stage heart failure. Last year we cared for over 2,000 people in their own homes across the province providing 80,129 hours of nursing care.”
