A total of 55 boys from St Columbs and Lisneal College came along to the club where they were introduced to youth coaches and officials.

Moss Dineen spoke to the boys about training nights and bus pick-up points throughout the city whilst Director of Rugby Bevan Lynch and senior club players put the boys through some coaching drills.

Jarlath and CRO Darren McGuigan helped with refereeing duties as both schools played 10 a side games at the end of the session.

All schools who take part on the “Play Rugby Programme” are given a pack that contains rugby balls, cones, bibs, and other goodies for teachers to continue with the pupils after the CRO has finished his coaching block.
