STEP ONE
Core Strength – For the ultimate goal celebration – lift your shirt & reveal those abs
“Set your Premium Slendertone Abs Belt to Programme 9: Beginner Crunch or Programme 10: Advanced Crunch (depending on fitness level). This step works the core complex – the rectus abdominus, tranversus abdominus & the internal & external obliques.” says Jarod
1. Plank x 1 minute – Lie face down, resting on the forearms, palms flat on the floor. Push off the floor, raising up onto toes and resting on the elbows. Keep your back flat, in a straight line from head to heels.
2. Side plank x 1 minute on each side – Lie on side, place forearm on floor under shoulder perpendicular to body. Place upper leg directly on top of lower leg and straighten knees and hips. Raise body upward by straightening waist so body is ridged. Repeat with opposite side.
3. Supine rotations x 1 minute – Lie down, face up. Bend knees 90 degrees, feet flat on the floor twice shoulder-width apart. Begin exercise by lowering knees inward as far as you comfortably can without allowing your feet to move or come off the ground. Hold this position for 1-2 seconds. Return to starting position.

STEP TWO
Fat Burning – Burn those calories after a nail-biting, beer fuelled 90 minutes

1. 20 x squats – stand straight, then crouch with knees bent and heels close to touching the back of your thighs
2. 20 x side lunges – stand straight with feet together. Keeping your left leg straight, step out to the side with your right leg and bend at your right knee. Return to start position and repeat
3. 10 x burpees – Begin standing, slowly crouch down into a squat while placing your hands on the floor in front of you. Place all of your weight onto your hands and kick your feet out behind you to end up in a push-up position. Kick your feet back up into the original squat position, stand up then jump up as high as you can. Remove your Premium Slendertone Abs Belt for this step
Jarod says “It’s important to know that body-fat cannot be spot reduced (i.e. just abs), so the whole body needs to be trained with exercises such as squats, lunges & burpees for overall tone & fat loss.
STEP THREE
Upper Body – Get sculpted guns & look the part in your rugby shirt

1. Press Ups x 15-20
For the experienced: lie face down, place hands wide palm down and feet together, hold your core in towards the spine and do 15-20 x press ups
For beginners: repeat as above, but kneel on knees rather than feet
2. Raised Push Ups x 15-20
Kneel on the floor placing hands on a chair/sofa/stair to create an incline, with hands close together, lean forward and do 15-20 push ups
STEP FOUR
Legs & Bum – Tone thighs for a game of footie with your mates

1. 20 x squats – stand straight, then crouch with knees bent and heels close to touching the back of your thighs
2. 10 x rear lunges, 10 x forward lunges – Stand upright, and then step backward with your right leg. Lower your upper body down and bend your left leg while keeping the torso upright and maintaining balance. Push up and go back to the starting position. Now repeat with the opposite leg.
3. 20 x supine hip thrusts – Lie on your back, place your arms at your sides, with the palms on the floor next to your hips. Place your feet flat on the floor, directly beneath your knees. Pressing into the floor with your hands and feet, press your pelvis upward toward the ceiling, extending the hips fully at the top. Pause briefly, then lower the hips to the floor.
