There is a direct link between the wide availability of porn and escalating requests for penis enlargement surgery.
Internet search queries involving the term ‘big dick’ has risen consistently from featuring in 52% of porn search queries in 2012, to 89% in 2017. The predominant interest arises in African regions including Kenya and South Africa, with the fourth highest level of interest emerging from the States. In related statistics, the terms ‘big black d*ck’, ‘big d*ck black’ and ‘black big d*ck’ have soared in popularity across search engines and constitute the highest rate of queries at a 100% hit rate.

Doctors at International Andrology london-andrology.co.uk explained that: “Across our clinics in Europe we have seen a 150% increase over the last year in search related terms for penis enlargement. This has translated to an increase of 33% in booked consultations for penis enlargement.”
The number of penis enlargement operations performed by International Andrology has doubled in recent years, which may reflect the fact that they have gradually established their clinics as centres of excellence for uro-genital reconstructive surgery. Doctors at the clinic suggest that in their experience there definitely has been an increase in the number of patients seeking penis enlargement surgery in the UK. The reasons for that are not immediately obvious clear but the IA clinic hypothesizes the following:

The available of free porn creates a false perception to patients of what is the normal penis size – our analysis suggests that the average penis shown in porn movies is around 7in whereas the average penis size is closer to 5.5in – this is quite a difference  Sexual attitudes and norms are changing especially among young patients – there is proliferation of sexting and use of smartphone apps where people are only judged based on pictures they send – showing-off genitals is key in attracting interest

Last but not least, the surgical techniques are improving and there are more doctors offering these operations – in fact it has been reported that around 45% of men are not satisfied with their penis size, but people were not aware that with modern operating techniques, real penis enlargement can be performed safely and effectively.

Whatever the reason is, penis enlargement surgery in the UK is becoming more and more mainstream. Its popularity follows a similar trajectory to breast enlargement operations – forty years ago they were very rare and only a few surgeons were performing them, however as the results improved their popularity also exploded.

Also known as penoplasty, penis enlargement is currently the most sought after aesthetic medical treatment for men. This is not surprising since 45% of men report that they are dissatisfied with their penis size. A recent government report detailed that young British men are significantly more likely than their American and German counterparts to want a larger penis.

It’s well established in medical research that:
 many men are unhappy with the size of their manhood very small penises are a rarity much higher percentage of women who are satisfied with their partner’s size than the percentage of men who are satisfied with their own.

YouGov research reveals the scale of dissatisfaction among young people in particular, and shows that the problem of body image is particularly acute in Britain compared to similar Western nations.

In Britain, being unhappy with your penis size is now the default situation for young men:
42% of 18-24 year old British men say they would like their penis to be larger 36% say it is the right size In both Germany and the US young men tend to say their manhood is the right size – in America fully 58% are content.

British men of all ages are more likely than men in Germany and the USA to want a larger penis:
35% in Britain 22% in Germany 29% in America.
For men the top modifications among those who would like cosmetic surgery are fat reduction (48%), penis enlargement (29%) and nose reshaping (19%).
Penis size has always been a controversial topic (which evidently indicates that it is also a very important issue), at IA London, the clinic recommends that if the size of a man’s penis causes him significant concern, then he should be given the opportunity to consult an experienced medical professional who will explain in detail the available options. A full explanation of what results can be realistically achieved will be offered to the candidate and the team will then evaluate viability for treatment.

In fact, with modern treatment protocols, it is possible to: increase penis length by 2-5cm  penis girth and glans by 30-50%.
All treatments options for penis enlargement offered are minimally invasive meaning that surgery will take one day and if possible a patient’s return to daily routine can be immediate.

The results of surgical penis enlargement (which increase penis length and girth) are permanent and the operation can be repeated if further size increases are desired.

For patients, reluctant to experience a surgical option, non-surgical enhancements involve injecting a filler in the penis to increase its volume. It should be noted that this is not a permanent solution (the filler will eventually be absorbed) but is a generally safe and reversible treatment which can be performed in 30 minutes with a local anaesthetic and repeated as many times as needed.

Please note that pills, creams and other medicinal products advertised for penis enlargement do not work and in many cases can be dangerous and should always be avoided!

The costs for penis enlargement treatments vary between £2900 and £8000 depending on whether a patient chooses the surgical or nonsurgical option, the operating technique employed and the results that you want to achieve. Prices are quoted on a case by case basis.
