No game for Limavady 1st XV this weekend but the 2nd XV hosted Cooke 2nd’s in Provincial League 4. They also competed for The Galant Cup, an annual competition between the 2 Clubs in Memory of Dominic O’Brien, a well liked local businessman and ardent supporter of Limavady Rugby.
Result – Limavady 37 – Cooke 20

The Gallant Cup is played for annually in memory of Shaun’s father Dominic. A popular and well known local businessman who was an ardent supporter of Limavady and was readily spotted in his Mitsubishi Galant car.
