With the bulk of teams in Ulster enjoying a week off for the Inter-provincials the Antrim Eels extended their lead at the top of the Ulster League after their second draw of the season when they drew 46-46 with the Belfast Bulldogs in Allen Park.

The second game of the week was probably the biggest result of the season so far when the Country Cowboys threw down the gauntlet in Munster by turning over the most successful side in the competition the Treaty Titans by a score of 28-24 to bring the Cowboys level on points with the Titans.

Leinster and Ulster played out the third game of the week with Ulster edging out a nail biting encounter by 12-10 to put themselves in the Inter-provincial drivers seat after the first game.

A full round of fixtures will return next weekend as the Inter-provincial series takes a break ahead of the Munster and Ulster clash in Cork on the 9th of June.

Results:

Inter-Provincial Series:
Ulster 12-10 Leinster

Ulster:
Antrim Eels 46-46 Belfast Bulldogs
