Rugby in Africa 2016 is well and truly up and running!

Alongside Oliver Munns (BPF Trustee) and Mark Cole (Project Manager) – who both managed a terrific 3-day training program at Ololo Lodge in Nairobi at the end of last month – our new volunteers have led the way in creating a quite superb team culture, embodying fully the charity’s ‘PRIDE’ values; professionalism, respect, integrity, discipline and enjoyment.

The team rolled into Tanzania yesterday and has already completed two successful programs in Nairobi and Jinja, in close collaboration with G4S Kenya and G4S Uganda. With our new Media Manager, Finn Sims, recording all the action, we have some exceptionally engaging features to share with you.

TAKE 10 MINUTES TO LEARN ABOUT ST. TERESA’S

Bhubesi Pride Foundation works with more than fifty schools and communities in nine African countries. Take a few moments to look through ‘a window into St. Teresa’s’ for a truly inspirational insight into just one of the schools we work with.

KENYA

Based at Braeburn Garden Estate and conducting outreach work in four Mathare schools, we have all the stats and photos available for you to catch up on. G4S Kenya was instrumental in not only teaming up brilliantly with the charity, but also in launching the entire 2016 program, with extensive media coverage seen across east Africa.

Finn has also produced a short video, showcasing commentary from G4S Kenya

More info will follow shortly and we’ll also be announcing the famous rugby personality who will be very much part of our launch!
