RUGBY ADVANCES IN UGANDA AS 3 SCHOOLS RECEIVE COACHING

Having left Nairobi, the Pride headed for the Ugandan border. Unfortunately the journey was not as straight forward as the team was expecting, when the pivot ball wore through the clutch fork on the 4 seater vehicle just outside Nakuru. With a 12-hour mechanics job ahead of them, Bhubesi Pride had to make an impromptu stop for the night.

Once the car had been fixed the team pushed on towards Uganda. They crossed the border and progressed towards Jinja by Friday night. Over the weekend the team met with Robert Bwali, Development Officer at the Ugandan Rugby Union. Robert had managed to register both Ben and Richie with the union, and then took them to Jinja Nile Rugby Club where they played a full game for the team against the Kampala Rhinos…… CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL STORY & PICTURES
