The Royal School, Armagh team finished their successful tour to Canada with an impressive victory against the Calgary Irish U19 team at the Calgary Irish Athletics Grounds on Saturday 14th July. Team captain, Matthew Clarke, lead his team superbly well against a very spirited Calgary Irish side, However, there was little the hosts could do to stop the stampede of RS Armagh attacks in a game the visitors won by 112-0. Matthew Clarke got great support from all his team mates in the course of the game but there were standout performances from Stuart Hooks, Thomas Johnston, Jonny Reaney, Luke Crozier and John Dunne. The visitors ran the ball at every opportunity, a strategy that paid dividends in the course of the game. The Royal School, Armagh squads have gone through their tour undefeated. The scored 514 points and conceded only 28. 25 different players scored the 78 tour tries in the games played, an impressive tally for a two week tour.
