Larne 2nds Progress to Quarter Finals of Crawford Plate
Saturday 3rd January saw Larne 2nds play Lisburn 2nds for a place in the quarter finals.
Larne have been having a fantastic season to date sitting in the top 4 of an extremely competitive league and beating some seriously good teams along the way.
Larne came out of the blocks quickly shoeing great continuity and patience in the build up to what was a great worked team try in the first few minutes with Ryan Gabby coming in from full back to score the first in the corner.
From the restart Larne gathered another head of steam with Stuart Johnston and Reid trying to set the tempo for the rest to follow by having some big carries at the Lisburn defence who seemed to have no answer so far for Larne’s big carriers this resulted in another try for Rennix who was hitting some superb lines and continued to do so for the whole game……..
