Dee II welcomed Ards III to Donaldson Park in a Junior League 4 game which was much anticipated given their opponents last gasp win in the parallel fixture in the previous season. With a few tyros missing – including skipper Stephen Cullen & Matthew Kane unavailable through holiday & work commitments respectively – the side knew they would have to dig deep to overcome a big Ards side which included the hard running & much travelled Serelli McGoon in their ranks.
