Its building, its growing, its coming to a club near you! RUGBY LEAGUE the ultimate summer fun
Tim Morton RLI Ulster Manager (based in and from Ulster) has earmarked the locations which will perfectly compliment the exisiting 10 league clubs from which the RLI Ulster Rugby Leage is drawn and ultimately leads to playing for Ireland Rugby League –
Tim said,
“We are looking to place another club in North Antrim area, we want 3 pools of 4. 1) North Pool already has Derry Coleraine & Antrim and we need another team for that to spring up in the Ballmena / Ballymoney areas……..there is a western pool with Dungannon / Portadown & Fermanagh so an Omagh and/or Banbridge / Dromore team established then it makes up the western pool.
Finally this has all grown from the final pool comprising Rabittohs, Bulldogs, Bunnies & Strangford Sharks”
Tim eat breathes and sleeps RL and we can tell you the league each summer has been brilliant fun with all the guys playing to win, not to mention the interprovincial rivalry which gets seriously competitive!
