Queen’s continued their unbeaten run with an away victory against City of Armagh RFC, in an exiting game with each team scoring three tries, only for the game to be decided by the boot of Queen’s Fly Half Ritchie Mcmaster.
Just like the previous week against Rainey, Queen’s started the game very well and went in at half time with 17-3 lead. In the second half Queen’s found a resolute armagh side to be a much tougher prospect but due to Mcmaster’s metronomic kicking were able to secure a 33-22 victory. Captain Chris Colvin was in blistering form on return to his home town and scored two tries. Queen’s will hope to continue their winning form as they visit Instonians under lighters on Wednesday 12th September (7:30pm kick off) in their next Ulster Senior League game.
