What a game: The Portadown Pumas took on the Ballynahinch Rabbitohs in the hotly contested Plate final at Belfast Harlequins on Saturday the 5th June.
You will see from the video clips later the intensity of this game was immense. From the outset both sides made it clear their intension was to hit hard and devastate the opposition. Smashing with full force and abandonment of any caution the game flowed back and forth but it was the Pumas who consistently finished their attacks with precision scoring.

The scoreline did not fully reflect the game in that the Rabittohs had a good bit of possession and various leaders rasied the tempo fo their game and inspired the team to play this through to the end with excellent intensity.
The Pumas however did win and were in 7th heaven at the end of the game. Very well done to them and to the Rabittohs many of whom stayed fro the next two games.
We commented at the time if this was the high standard of the first game then the next two games had alot to live up to.
Ultimatley it was a superb game and a delight to cover.
