Seniors
Over 40 senior players were put through their paces at Hamilton Park on Saturday as the wheels of the new season slowly begin to turn.
Closely supervised by Club head coach Cois Beukes, players were individually assessed over the various programs and their results recorded for further analysis.

While it may have been tough going for some, the whole exercise was extremely worthwhile as it shows the level of strength and fitness of each player, and what they need to work on.

Players, who were not able to attend on Saturday, will be put through the same program over the coming weeks.

All players will be assessed again in a few weeks time, so keep working hard fellas; it’s for your own good – honest!!!

Ladies

Ards are also moving forward with their ambitious plans to field a Ladies team this season and their pre-season training will kick-off on Wednesday 21st July at 6.45pm.

Because Ards will now be fielding a Ladies team, the changing areas including showers, will be Out-of-Bounds to everyone except those involved with the Ladies section on Wednesday evenings. The remainder of the clubhouse will be open to all other members as normal.

For more information about joining Ards Ladies section please contact Ross Reid on 07801 848762, everyone welcome.

Youth

Youth pre-season training for the U15s and 17s will commence on Tuesday 10th August at 6.45pm. The U13s will initially train on Sundays from September and more details on this will be made known in the near future.

Mini

The Mini section will be returning to action in early September and more details on this will be made known in due course.

Ards are looking forward to building on the successes of last season at all levels and to do this they require a strong player base. Anyone who is considering playing for the Club should make themselves available for pre-season training as early and as often as possible and help get the season off to a flying start, everyone welcome.
