Inishowens mini section recently travelled to Letterkenny RFC with players at under 8’s under 10’s and under 12’s and had a very encouraging day. This was the first competitive encounter for most of the players, and they were able to produce some very positive and spirited play.
Their opponents on the day were teams from Letterkenny and Tir Chonaill rugby clubs, and the skill level on show is a credit to all the coaches’ players and parents involved, and is proof of the great work being undertaken to develop the sport in the County.
Thanks must be extended to the Host’s for the excellent organisation evident, the warm welcome and the spirit of good sportsmanship that marked the occasion. Congratulations to all involved.
