The Belfast Boat Club was the venue for this years AGM and annual dinner.
Our Patron Dr Jack Kyle presnted a donation to Sam Wilsons grand daughter for a charity project in Africa (click here for photo) and Terry McCracken paid thanks to those who had helped him through a very difficult year.
Awards were presented to outgoing President Philip Parker, captain Stewart Porter and Billy Trimble who was retiring from the committee after 18 years service.

Perennial of the year was presented to Mark Goldsbrough.
As we enter our 25th anniversary year, it was appropriate that Geoff Goldsbrough was elected to the role of President, Peter Sanford was elected captain,and David Elliott vice captain.
Peter started his rugby at Lurgan,followed by a couple of seasons at Portadown and then 12 seasons at Dungannon, before returning to Lurgan. Davy started his rugby career at QUB, and gained honours for Irish Universities, Ulster under 18 and under 23 levels, before heading down to Bangor, where full Ulster honours were gained in the 80s and 90s. Currently Davy is being used as an impact player off the bench for Denis Fusco.
Sir Billy Hastings proposed the toast to the Club, responded to by Stewart Porter, with our President Philip Parker proposing the toast to the guests, responded to by Jimmy Bright a comedian from across the shores. Alan Crawford led the musical extravaganza before carriages at midnight brought the end to a memorable season. click here for photos
