Carrick Ladies will be hosting the second round of the Ulster Ladies 10’s tournament on Sunday 1st December.
Having placed second in the previous round, Carrick look forward to welcoming Cooke, City of Derry and Harlequins to Tom Simms Memorial Park.
This will be a tough competition, as each side fights to win the overall prize – a team trip to Dublin for a Six Nations match, with a runner-up prize of a team trip to Ravenhill.
Last Sunday, a depleted Carrick side travelled to City of Derry, missing a number of regular players and came away with second place, so the home team are looking forward to hosting this week and turning out a full-strength side.
This is the first year of this new competition, purposely devised during the inter-provincial matches to allow each squad the chance to compete during the tournament. The top teams will go on to compete for the trip to Aviva Stadium, while the others will compete for the Ravenhill prize.
The first match kicks off at 2pm and all support is welcome.
