NUTTY KRUST FLOODLIT TOURNAMENT 2014

Rules & Regulations

  1. The competition will be for players born in on or before 1 July 1994 and 30 June 1996 (Under 19s).
  2. IRFU Age Grade Regulations for U 19 rugby will apply
  3. Team squads will consist of a maximum of 22 players-5 of whom should be designated to play in the front row.
  4. Team list along with IRFU Registration number must be given to a PRFC representative who will meet participating teams on the night.
  5. SCHOOL PLAYERS: Clubs may play up to a maximum of 3 schools players in the competition i.e. the same players. They must not be Schoolboy Interprovincial/International players. These players must have an IRFU Registration number & their school must be noted on the team list. The Principal or the Master in charge of rugby in the school attended by player(s) must give their written permission on school headed notepaper and this permission letter needs to be presented with the team sheet when the player(s) first play. If a letter with all of the relevant details, as listed, is not presented then the player(s) CANNOT PLAY! There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule!
  6. In the event of a colour clash PRFC will provide a change (unless clubs wish to provide their own).
  7. Clubs must provide a touch judge for match (Touch judges will be designated by the club/Branch for the final and possibly for semi finals).
  8. The Ulster Branch will provide a referee for each game.
  9. In the event of a draw after 70 minutes the following will apply:

(i)                 Team which scores greatest number of tries progresses to next round.

(ii)               If still level, then the team who scored the first try in the match.

(iii)             If still level, then the team kicking the most conversions.

(iv)             If still level, then the team who kicked the first conversion.

(v)               If still level, then the team kicking the most penalty goals.

(vi)             If still level, then the team who kicked the first penalty goal.

(vii)           If still level, then the team who scores the most drop goals.

(viii)         If still level, then the team who scored the first drop goal.

(ix)             If the above fail to differentiate then the toss of a coin, with coaches involved, will decide who progresses to the next round.

(x)               Except in the final, when in the event of a draw the cup will be shared.

After Matches

 

  • Teams will receive 25 food & drink tickets-PRFC will provide food and refreshments for participants
  • Participants (Players & coaches) will receive a Nutty Krust loaf.
  • There will be a Man of the Match Award presented in the clubhouse.
