Lifes unexpected journey

We don’t know what each day will bring.  Whether it will be joy or whether it will be sadness.  The only person that knows our lifes journey is God.  God gives us grace for each day.  Not for tomorrow and not for yesterday but for that day.

Sunday past our dog Jessie died.  If you have pets you will understand how painful it is for a pet to die.  About a year ago Jessie was at deaths door.  She could have died at any time due to the strain on her heart.  She had lost all energy and was off her food.  The vet operated on her to see what the cause was and found a piece of plastic that she had eaten.  The plastic had become stuck in her tummy and had over time got bigger due to hair and things attaching to it.  So over time as it became bigger she stopped being able to get food down past it.  When he removed this and gave her a special diet for a short time Praise God Jessie was back to her self within a few days.

This time was different it was so quick and so unexpected. The week before she died she was running around a mountain path that we go to and was full of energy bouncing through the long grass.  Five days later she was being sick and started to off her food.  Seven days after her run around the mountain she was on an operating table fighting for her life.

As I share the pain and sadness of this week my heart breaks to know that there are so many people out there that have had a loss or their lives have been turned upsidedown.  I had God helping me through, giving me what I needed to get me through the following days after her death and friends keeping my husband and me in prayer.  Alot of people have nothing or no-one and don’t know God.

Life is so unpredicable,  for that reason it is important that people come to know God.  You just don’t know what the next day will bring. Always remember that it’s not God doing these things but its the devil that wants to kill and destroy.

John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Life is a journey with ups and downs.  We grow stronger more so when we go through the downs. The downs give us backbone, they give us muscle, they make us stronger to overcome the next battle.  I know that God always has a good plan and He will turn everything around for good.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace.  In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Romans 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Phillppians 4:13  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Psalm 3:3  But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.

Psalm 29:11  You strengthen me and bless me with peace.

If you don’t know God I urge you to ask Him into your life.  Be sure that you will spend eternal life with Him and not with the enemy.  Our life on earth is but short, but our life after death is forever.

God Bless

Love Denise

What’s on your mind?

This month The Lord has shown me how easily my mind can be subject to invasion, unfortunately I let the devil steal my peace and joy despite the fact I am and was aware it was up to me to guard myself and not let him, ‘for to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace,’ Romans 8:6.

It can happen so easily without us even being aware of what’s happening before we know it we’re all flustered, unfocused and affecting and infecting those around us.  How can we proclaim Jesus is our saviour, and we dwell in love when we are not enjoying and operating in the fruits of the spirit which are freely given to the children of God?

The key is recognising we fight a personal war with the devil each day which we can overcome, ‘ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world,’ 1 john 4:4, ‘be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good,

‘ Romans 12:21.

‘Stinking thinking’ is poisonous to ours minds, tongues, attitude it is so important we remain focused on The Lord, be thankful, rejoice in hope, rejoice in love, take a step back and look at what God has given you, brought you through, saved you from, empowered you with, and how many times he has healed you! What has the devil ever done to deserve to dwell even for a brief moment in your mind?

We are overcomers!

We are set free!

We are loved!

We have the knowledge and power!

We have all God’s promises!

We are under grace not condemnation!

Give your cares to The Lord don’t let burdens drag you down God has lifted up our heads, we are children of light and we don’t need to accept anything other than the word of God.
