Ballyclare rugby club have changed their shirt design for the first time in 61 years (2009/10 Season marked the 60th Year for Ballyclare RFC) for the 1st XV from the traditional hoops to a more modern and professional fitted shirt supplied by Akuma Rugby. The Shirts have been generously sponsored by Nitro Sport (Antrim Hills Water), Hagans Leisure, John Mulholland Motors, Morrow Transport and Chain Reaction. Without the support of all our sponsors, especially in today’s economic climate, Ballyclare RFC like all sporting clubs would seriously struggle to provide the top class facilities found at “The Cloughan”. Interest in the new shirts has been overwhelming both by the players and supporters to the extent that it is agreed that the players shirts will be auctioned at the end of the season and replica shirts are now available to supporters from mini to senior providing extra revenue to the club.

Thanks to www.glenophoto.com who supplied the 50 pictures of the Ballyclare Rugby Jersey which you can view as a slideshow or individually by clicking here

Thanks must go to Willie Logan, 1st XV Captain, for all his hard work sourcing our new shirt supplier and coming up with the new shirt design. Thanks also to Akuma Rugby for their fantastic service and rapid delivery.
