This Friday night will give Ulster supporters plenty of opportunity to see the club’s new signings in action with Johann Muller, Pedrie Wannenburg and Tim Barker all named in the starting line-up to take on Bath in the first of Ulster’s 3 pre-season friendly fixtures (13th August, KO 7.30pm)
There’s plenty of experience in the Ulster pack and together Young, Brady and Fitzpatrick form a hardened front row. Muller, who has been named as the side’s captain, will partner up in the engine room with Tim Barker, while Wannenburg, Diack and Faloon form the back row trio.
There’s a youthful flavour to the back-line,the back three of Smith, McCrea and Seymour have an average age of just 22 years old. Whitten and Cave form the centre pairing while Humphreys and Marshall are named at half-backs.
Youngsters Paddy McAllister, Adam Macklin, Ian Porter and Nevin Spence have all been named on the bench.
Tickets for Ulster v Bath are still available to purchase in advance of the game from www.ulsterrugby.com or can be purchased on the gates which open at 6pm.
