Malone won well at home against Bective Rangers a team they always seem to strugle to get a win against.
Tries by Ryan wilson and Chris Leathem, and some excellent kicking from Josh Pentland who punshied the visitors at every opportunity left the scoreline 23-9 in favour of Malone.
This was a well deserved victory it was clear for all to see the team played well as a fifteen, with some intelligent kicking from out half John Creighton and a desire to play intelligent rugby in the opponents half.
Bective did have some clear scorning oppurtunities which they failed to bring to fruition. They camped on the Malone line and through eveything at the Malone defence including the kitchen sink, but gutsy defensive play by the home side saw them weather the storm, after that the game was in Malones hands and they continued to make good decisions which allowed them to close out the game.
Well done all on a great victory.
