Another great session for the P7s

Pass it on

Thanks to the all who showed up on Saturday afternoon.

First great to see the return of Jamesy back after being missing for the last few weeks. On the injury front we where glad to hear the initial reports of Patrick’s wrist being broken where not correct and hopefully all maybe mended by the time we get back to full contact and matches. Also a player turned his ankle this week no names as we do not want to give potential valuable information out to our future opponents. All this non contact training and we have had more injuries off the field this season.

Well onto the training session. We started off with the passing which is really improving nice soft hands and the speed of pass is also getting much better. Then onto miss moves and longer passing just before contact. Again this is getting better but may need a bit more work when we can get real contact into the drill. The defensive and attack formation drill is paying off with much better organisation at a potential breakdown again we can all build on this when we put a bit of contact into the drill. The wrap-rounds are getting better also. We had a fun kicking and catching drill to end with and we may have a full-back and scrum-half in the panel. As the temperature dropped we called a halt at 3.45.

Great session lads see you same time same place next week.

Till then heads back down for next Saturday’s test and from all the coaches best of luck.
