At the end of a thrilling weekend of Rugby Sevens, Fiji beat first New Zealand 44-0 and then South Africa 29-17 in the Cup final to win a first Emirates Dubai Rugby Sevens title since 1998.
Fuelled by the support of a passionate crowd at 7he Sevens Stadium, Osea Kolinisau, Pio Tuwai, Benito Masilevu and player of the tournament Samisoni Viriviri inspired the islanders to a memorable victory at round two of the HSBC Sevens World Series.

The emphatic victory handed a third Dubai Cup title in four years to new coach Ben Ryan, and his first piece of silverware for Fiji.
They now have 35 points, just four behind World Series leaders New Zealand (39), with South Africa (34) and England (32) within striking distance heading to Port Elizabeth next weekend.

Pool draw made for round three in South Africa
Following the pool draw for round three of the Series, the Cell C Nelson Mandela Bay South Africa Sevens, Dubai winners Fiji head Pool A and face Scotland, Australia and France on day one in Port Elizabeth, on 7 December.
Dubai runners-up South Africa host the PE tournament and face Kenya, Canada and Spain in Pool B. New Zealand play Wales, Portugal and USA in Pool C, and England will play Argentina, Samoa and Zimbabwe in Pool D.
