Who said that candles had to be straight? It certainly wasn’t anyone at Broste Copenhagen and they know a thing or two about candles.
The new collection of candles from Broste are mini sculptures which will add panache to your table or mantlepiece. There are two bendy shapes and four different colours: rainy day, fungi, Indian tan and honey gold.
In the production of the candles Broste uses selected raw materials such as fully refined paraffin wax, high-grade stearin and pure cotton wicks. All candles are made without palm oil.
The candles are called Bend and both shapes retail at £30.00 each.

You don’t even need a candle holder- all you do it light it.
The Advent candle called Lucia comes in 3 colours white, rainy day and fungi.

Nordic Bistro
The new range of drinking glasses from Broste Copenhagen is designed by Aurelien Barbry and his design philosophy, “to move objects towards more simplicity and obviousness. To create a dialogue with the end user and to renew typologies”, fits in perfectly with theirs.
The initial idea behind the “Nordic Bistro” drinking glass was brought to life after sitting at a buzzing bistro in Copenhagen. The design needed to be functional, simple and yet original with a recognizable outline. The solid glasses are stackable and fit for everyday use in your home or in a restaurant. The collection consists of six different stackable drinking glasses, three water glasses in different sizes and three wine glasses, all in the unique colour “Smoke”.

ELI Tableware – Scandinavian Design inspired by Japan
The new minimalist ELI collection from Broste Copenhagen is characterised by its round edges and soft colours, which gives connotations to the modern Japanese tableware. Fine and refined. Japanese culture has a certain aesthetic to it that is entirely their own, and there are few places where this is more evident than the dining table.
The Japanese inspired collection has above all an aesthetic utility and consists of five ceramic items; two cups with or without handle, a small jug, a bowl and a rectangular plate. The collection comes in five different coloured glazes, which give the collection a playful touch where the reactive glaze creates an organic feel and ensures no two items are exactly alike. Only the soft blue has a glossy glaze – reflecting light and adding vivid accents to the surfaces. The matte finish of the other items is unreflective and opaque, and has a subtle texture to its surface that is reminiscent of natural stone.
You choose whether to go with one colour or mix and match the colours and perhaps other tableware.
