2s lost narrowly at CI after promising start. Now showing they can certainly compete in this league.
3s lost heavily to a ‘freak’ bclare team brimming with ex 1sts & AIL players. By clares own admission they would prob give their 1s a game so no disgrace lads especially as we competed well 1st half before losing John O’Tooles influence at the break. Well done greg liddle for his match changing contribution 2nd half – negative that is!!
u19s – superb display from the young guns in greasy conditions. look a super wee side who are really gelling & show great unity. big squad now formed so may be an idea to get an odd sunday friendly to keep squad happy. stand outs for me were j burns, a white, p andrews but my man of the match for whats its worth was dan ‘the man’ campbell for dominating at the breakdown;
can’t believe how the former wee dan has shot up. also deserves it for wearing a muscle vest in club after. well done lads – keep training up & well done birdy, kevin & bob also.
