Jierra Beauty is a black-owned, organic skincare brand based in London. It creates skincare formulations backed up by science but its main focus is self-care and wellness. Its Founder, Danielle Corbert, has faced personal struggles of anxiety and stress and sought to create products that feed the skin, whilst soothing the mind.
“I saw that my own mental and physical health was depleting due to strain, busyness and pressures. When I ended up in hospital after collapsing on a train, I knew it was time to make a change” says Danielle. During a career break, Danielle sought out moments of relaxation through performing skincare rituals in her bathroom. This then led her to revisit her passion of formulating body products.
