Do you have a hearing loss, Deaf and currently playing rugby or want to learn how to play? Then we need you!!

This amazing intiative comes hot on the heels of several other countries forming their own deaf and hard of hearing teams. Wales deaf, England deaf, New Zealand deaf, Australia deaf, and Japan deaf.

The group would like to get more players to play tag rugby tournaments, 7 side rugby and eventually leading to an international side.

With the backing of other nations they now need your help to make this happen.

Hopefully this story will spread the word to everyone in Ulster to get involved.

Everyone who is deaf or hard of hearing and playing for their local club, see Ireland Deaf Rugby on facebook for more details or contact Christopher Wightman at irelanddeafrugby@gmail.com

They are close to making this happen so that last bit of help would be amazing.

If you know of anybody who’s deaf/hard of hearing it would be really appreciated if you could pass on the message.
